Rich Kinder decides his energy infrastructure empire, Kinder Morgan, is too big for the MLP structure.  Will there be more C-corp consolidation to come for the MLP industry?

Another reason to always own what your MLP operator owns.  The Kinder Morgan deal is going to stick owners of the limited partnerships with a large tax bill while the general partner (KMI) which Rich Kinder owns a significant chunk of will benefit.

Shame on you underwriters!  Vascular Biogenics IPOs, trades for a couple days, and then says the IPO never happened.  This kind of thing happens at market tops doesn’t it?
